"UW Colleges is a liberal arts institution that offers the first two years of the bachelor’s degree. We are the freshman-sophomore years of the bachelor’s degree. Our mission is transfer. We also have tenured professors and higher education requirements for our faculty, most of whom have a Ph.D. in their discipline. In other words, our curriculum and faculty are essentially the same as the curriculum and faculty you would find at any four-year university."

"UW College는 첫 2년동안 학사학위를 제공하는 인문과학대학이다. 즉, 4년제의 신입 및 2학년 교육과정을 가리키는 곳인 것이다. 따라서 UW College의 궁극적인 목표는 학생들에게 더 높은 학력을 취득하기 위해 편입의 기회를 제공한다. 또한 UW College의 교수가 되기 위한 자격 수준이 타 컬리지에 비해 높은 편이며 대다수의 교사들이 전공 분야에서 박사학위를 취득한 고학력자이다. 달리 말하면, UW 컬리지에서 제공하는 교육과정이나 교사들의 이력은 4년제 대학과 동일한 셈이다. "
